Roebuck Buildings completed a 21,000 sq ft expansion of an existing facility to add production space for Ostrem Tool, a manufacturer of round shank solid carbide cutting tools for the metalworking, automotive, and aerospace industries. In addition to constructing the new building, the project scope included site utility work, repaving the existing parking lot, and demolishing and rebuilding the facade of the existing office. The building shell was load bearing precast with joist and metal decking, chosen for durability, superior insulation, fire protection and easy long-term maintenance. The new office facade included storefront glass and EIFS stucco designed to match the exterior of the new production building.
