Team Tuesday: Meet Jason Fisher, Senior VP of Operations
Team
Welcome back to #TeamTuesday, where each week we introduce you to the awesome people who make #BuildBetter possible.
Today, we’re introducing you to Jason Fisher, our Senior Vice President of Operations. He’s the man with the plan – the one who strategically schedules work flow for our Project Managers, Superintendents, and Field Staff, navigates and manages P&L, ROI, and scheduling of projects, all while serving as one of the most knowledgeable construction professionals on our team and leading our team with excellence and integrity.
Much of our success is due to Jason’s leadership. While he was officially named Senior Vice President of Operations earlier this year, he has led our team in both official and unofficial capacities through his daily efforts and example since he joined in 2002. Jason provides leadership and direction to the Safety Director, Project Managers, Project Engineers, Superintendents, Foremen and Craft personnel at Roebuck Buildings. He develops policies and procedures that maintain our position as a leader in quality, performance, and safety, and he will maintain his role in cultivating productive relationships with Clients, Partners, and Subcontractors.
Jason and his family are active in their community and church. His wife Amy, and their three children, Kaylee, Cara, and Jake, enjoy family road trips out west. Jason is an avid outdoorsman, spending time in the mountains, wing shooting, and sport fishing.
We sat down with Jason to ask him a few fun questions. Read on to learn more about his latest impulse buy, what he’s reading, and what goal he’s working on.
What are you currently binge-watching? “Man in the High Castle” and “Jack Ryan” (Editor’s note: It took Jason approximately 2.5 days to get through Season Two of “Jack Ryan.” Don’t let him give you any spoilers!)
What is your favorite local spot to eat? Jason’s Deli.
What are you currently reading? The Fall of Gondolin by J.R.R. Tolkien
What was your last impulse purchase: It wasn’t an impulse purchase, but my last big purchase was a 12 Gauge Over & Under Shotgun for a recent hunting excursion.
What is one goal you’re currently working on: Being the best husband to Amy and father to our kids is my main goal. Professionally, I am working toward growing our company through developing talent and expanding our footprint, while we keep the family atmosphere and culture that our team knows and loves.
We hope you enjoyed getting to know a little more about Jason. We’re glad to have him leading our company! Check back next week to meet more of our great team.
