When Augusta Road United Methodist Church needed a new building for their congregation, they had an image in mind of what they wanted. Working alongside Jerry W. Rives Jr., AIA, Roebuck Buildings was able to bring that vision to life. For this design-build project, Roebuck Buildings erected a 13,000-square-foot structure, complete with a sanctuary, classrooms, administration offices, a fellowship hall, and a commercial kitchen, perfect for meeting all of the church’s needs. Functionality was not the only consideration, though. To ensure that the new facility was aesthetically inviting, stained glass windows were used to enhance the setting and welcome both new and current members inside.
