Project Completed: Diana Food
Projects
We recently completed a project for food and ingredient manufacturer Diana Food / Symrise in Commerce, Georgia. The $50 million, 94,000-square-foot facility, located in Banks County in the Banks Crossing Business Park on approximately 40 acres, will house office, manufacturing, and warehouse space, with the main function of production of poultry food products such as broth and dried meat powder.
We partnered with GPN Architecture, Inc. on the design of the Diana project, and worked early on with the equipment integrator to allow equipment installation to begin months before building completion. Despite rain – lots of it, frequently – we were able to complete the project on time, and on budget.
The building is structural steel framed with an insulated metal panel wall system and 60 mil TPO roof, and includes utility piping integrated above corridors. The facility houses 63,000 square feet of production space, an office/lab area of 12,000 square feet, and a 5,500 square feet utility building.
The Diana Food / Symrise team celebrated the completion of the facility with a ribbon-cutting. Check out details and pictures from the event here: www.authenticityhappenshere.com.
