Roebuck Buildings Awarded Another Design/Build Project
Spartanburg, SC
Roebuck Buildings was awarded the contract to design and build a 40,000 sq. ft. addition to the PCI facility in Wingo Park on N. Blackstock Rd in Spartanburg. The new addition will be used for a warehousing. PCI manufactures landscape fabric for the nursery and agricultural market. Roebuck Buildings Co Inc built the original facility and the addition will be completed Fall 2008.

Roebuck Buildings Awarded Another Project at Plastic Omnium
Duncan, SC
Roebuck Buildings has been awarded the contract to design and build a new office addition for Plastic Omnium in Duncan, South Carolina. The original 52,500 sq. ft. facility built by Roebuck Buildings was completed in 2007. This addition involves adding 3,700 sq. ft. of new office area.

Roebuck Buildings has been awarded the design / build contract for A.H. Knight North America Ltd. Roebuck’s architect, Jerry W. Rives Jr., AIA is developing the design for the warehouse addition. There will also be a lean-too structure build for outside storage.

Roebuck Buildings Adds New Employees
Roebuck, SC
Roebuck Buildings has hired Phaly Kong and Dustin Duncan. Phaly has been at Roebuck since February 2007 working through a temporary agency. She has been hired as the full time receptionist. Dustin Duncan was hired recently as Assistant Project Manager. He will be located at the Fort Jackson site. Construction is expected to continue into 2009.

Roebuck Buildings Completes Construction at Bericap
RBC has completed the design and construction of a new 90,000 square foot facility for Bericap North America, a major international producer of specialized plastic closures. Bericap is the first industry to be located at the Upstate Corporate Park in Cherokee County. The building for Bericap will feature the use of automated state-of –the art injection molding equipment and processes, which will be housed in a climate controlled food grade environment.

Roebuck Buildings Awarded Lift-Tek Expansion
RBC has been awarded a contract for the design and construction of a 41,000 sf expansion to Lift-Tek in Westminster, SC. Construction has begun and is expected to be completed in June of 2008. The expansion will double the current size of the facility to 80,000 sf and add 50 new jobs to Oconee County. Lift Technologies, Inc. is a global supplier of masts, carriages, integral side shifters, and fork positioners for the mobile material handling market. The company’s market reach includes industrial truck, rough terrain, construction, and agricultural equipment applications.

Roebuck Buildings Awarded Another Honda Project
Recently, RBC was awarded the contract to build the new facility for Morganton Honda. Project Manager Norman Norton has managed several Honda dealership construction upgrades to meet the Honda Dealership Image Program guidelines. Roebuck Building's in-house design team headed by architect Jerry W. Rives is developing the design for the new showroom.

Roebuck Buildings Begins Another Church Project
Roebuck Buildings Co., Inc. was recently awarded the contract for Redeemer Presbyterian Church in Travelers Rest, SC. Roebuck's design team, headed by Architect Jerry W. Rives Jr., is developing the design for the 16,230 sq. ft. new building.

Roebuck Buildings Co., Inc. has been awarded the ORFC Bioskills Lab upfit at the Greenvile Hospital System Patewood Campus. RBC recently completed a similar Bioskills lab at Steadman Hawkins Clinic of the Carolinas in Spartanburg.

Roebuck Buildings Awarded Another Industrial Project
Roebuck Buildings Co., Inc. was recently selected to construct a new Greenlight Biofuels facility in Laurens, SC. Greenlight Biofuels produces clean burning biodiesel made from domestic resources. Biodiesel is a 100% renewable and biodegradable fuel derived from vegetable or animal oils and can be used in diesel engines without modification. Greenlight Biofuels, Inc. was founded by Greenlight Energy Resources, Inc. to develop, build, own and operate biofuel facilities in North America. Greenlight Biofuels is headquartered in Charlottesville, Virginia. The company broke ground on its first biodiesel production facility in Princess Anne, Maryland in January 2007. This new facility in Laurens will be double the size of the Maryland facility.

Recently, Roebuck Buildings completed the construction of an addition to the Mitsubishi Polymers Facility. The manufacturing facility is a two story industrial building. In addition, Roebuck completed a warehouse at the same site.

Reuben graduated from Clemson in Construction Science and Management with a minor in Business Administration and has 6 years of previous experience as an Estimator. Roebuck Buildings Completes Bioskills Lab
The Steadman Hawkins Clinic of the Carolinas celebrated the openning of the new Bioskills Innovation Lab. The grand openning for the teaching facility was held October 28. This is the latest of many projects Roebuck Buildings Co., Inc. has completed at the Mary Black Memorial Hospital campus.

Members of Greater Hopewell Baptist Church and guests celebrated the opening of their new sanctuary for their first service on August 12, 2007. Roebuck Buildings was selected as the general contractor for this project with Peyton Howell serving as Project Executive and was on site for the ribbon cutting.

Roebuck Buildings Awarded Contract in Matrix Park
Roebuck Buildings was recently awarded by The Whitmire Company, the contract to design and build a 70,000 sf flex space facility, sub-dividable into 7,500 to 70,000 sf multi-tenant spaces for lease in Matrix Park located on Hwy. 25 South in Greenville, SC. The space will be available for occupancy in the first quarter of 2007.

Roebuck Buildings Co., Inc. was recently awarded the contract to design and build a new facility for the Spanish Seventh Day Adventist Church. The church, for which the congregation held a groundbreaking ceremony recently, will have a new sanctuary and classrooms.

Bridgestone is relocating their aircraft tire division from Miami, FL to Mayodan, NC. Roebuck is converting the existing Unifi textile warehouse / distribution center to the tire manufacturing plant.

SEW Eurodrive Project Completions
Roebuck Buildings has recently completed two projects for SEW Eurodrive in Lyman, South Carolina. The first project was a two-story file storage addition and the second, a chiller building to house equipment for the manufacturing facility.
